Mountain Mist is a dulcimer duo who entertain throughout Southern Ohio. Both Virginia Spillman and Sue Frump play a variety of instruments which includes but is not limited to mountain dulcimer, banjimer, autoharp, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, psaltery and the folk harp. Often they invite other talented musicians to join them when performing. Their repertoire includes a variety of music genres such as folk, country, Celtic, gospel, blues, polka, classical, traditional, jazz, Civil-war era, and Christmas.

In August of 2005 they released their first CD titled "Here and There", recorded at Brian Streitenberger's studio. Brian, a well-known musician, provided the main backup on guitar.

Other musicians on their album include Ellen Pennington (recorder), Paul McComb (guitar), and Loren Reed (guitar).

"Here and There" has been well received as a relaxing mix of Celtic, folk, contemporary, and gospel. It is available in stores locally and throughout southern Ohio.

Virginia and Sue have just released their second CD, Misty Christmas.
